Somewhat of a grim accessment. Chrysler is one of those "to big to fail" companies. Now, if you own a Pontiac Solstice, you could be screwed!

From the reviews I've read, owning a Solstice puts you in screwedom regardless of GM's financial state. Of course we know about reviewers but in this case they're probably dead on. The styling is fantastic for sure. I had really hoped these little retro rockets (turbo model) would measure up but one look at the ill fitting top and you know that quality wasn't a major concern.

If someone did cut your top it's NOT your biggest problem. Would only cost you the insurance deductable, in my case $250, a bargain on a new top.

I'd have to agree, Mr. Max.

The Solstice is a beautiful design slapped on top of a questionable platform. Just think what it could be with some sound, quality-minded engineering underneath.

And a real console and trunk. HA.
