Question Looking for a "Multifunction Tool" - for my Crossfire

I bought a used 2005 Roadster, unfortunately it did not come with the Multifunction Tool. The tool that allows one to open a malfunctioning convertible top and to remove the cover of the tow hook.

The dealership had promissed to get one for me, but no luck!

Does anyone know where to get one cheaper than the price that Chrysler is charging, ($200.00 CDN). Or does anyone know of a tool that could substitute for it?

Much appreciated,

Maggie

I am missing mine as well. I thought I really needed it but decided not to worry about it. A few months ago, eBay had plenty on there. I don't recall the prices, but they were very cheap BIN. Take a look.

Thanks so much for the response. I will watch E-Bay for a listing.

What cover over the tow hook? I know there's an after market cover but I didn't know it took a special tool to remove it.

The front tow hook....behind the lower grille, passenger side.

Actually with the right grip, you can remove the lower grilles without any tools. James

Maggie,

Check out this thread: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post385222

Apparently Onehundred80 now has two multi-tools. You might be able to PM him and buy one of them off of his hands... Just a thought. Good luck in your search.

Good for you.

We looked and looked in every conceivable part of the car.

Luckily a nice gentleman gifted one to me. And I am very grateful!

Now if I can just figure what the 3 Beeps mean't the other night, I will be fine.
