Has anyone replaced a tail light lense or bulb? Do you remove it from the trunk area or from underneath? Before I start removing panels, I thought it would be easier to ask.

 

Well.....Are you wanting to change out a bulb or the entire brake light assembley? For bulb only replacement>Open the trunk,You will see a small service pannel on the left and right. Lift the selected side pannel from the bottom straight upward. There is two tabs on the bottom you can work out with your finger. You can now service the bulbs. If it's necessary to continue on replacing the entire brake light housing,you need a #8 socket or wrench to remove 3 nuts. Then the entire housing will pull straight outward. Squirrel Crusher

 

If only it were that easy on my roadster. I had to remove a large panel with 8 attachments and it interlocked with other panels. It would be a real pain to change a tail light bulb on the road.
