Crossfire Roadster sighting in a movie!!
My apologies if this has already been mentioned (I did a quick search and didn't find any threads on it)...
Just bought and watched the Clint Eastwood movie "Gran Torino" and lo and behold - a Crossfire Roadster makes an appearance in the film.
In the scene where Walt is teaching Thao to "man up" when they are in the barbershop look through the window at the road behind Thao when he's talking and you will see a red Roadster drive by.
I'm such a Crossfire geek but I thought it was pretty cool, first and only one I've spotted in a flick. I see my other car, a PT Cruiser, all the time in movies, TV shows, but this was a Crossfire first for me.

I've got a blu-ray copy and have watched it four times....missed it each time....I must be slipping. Rest assured, I'll plug it in tonight.

We Crossfire owners are a goofy bunch when we see one of our cars in a movie - yes, I do the same thing. But I wonder if the Pontiac Silhouette forum is as excited that one of their vehicles is also seen in this scene. Or the Chevy Cargo Van guys - hey, their darn vehicle is sitting there stationary through the whole thing. Lucky buggers. But then again, a cargo van in the background isn't as distracting as a nice Crossfire sitting there would have been.
Has anyone seen these advertisments on the tube (I think CNN runs them) which pitch Vermont for a vacation destination? Well, I was watching one on Thursday evening and they were running down a scenic roadway and they came up behind a car which looked an awful lot like a Crossfire.

Ya I gotta say for people that in my opinion own one of the nicest cars ever made we get pretty adolescent when we see our cars on film or the boob tube. For as few of Crossfires as there actually are they do appear on screen alot...

To add to the T.V. sightings; My wife and I spotted a Coupe drive up on the Hells Kitchen cooking program. It was in last seasons episodes. Towards the end when they show the Hollywood Type guests that show up for dinner service. For a brief moment I felt like I was somebody. LOL
