Default Closing Top question

I have a 05 Roadster and when I put up the top it stops about 8 inches from the windshield header. I have to be careful pulling it down on the header as it wants too slam down. I'm OK with it but my wife says it's too hard to ease it down for her. Is this normal? Thank you. Tom

Yes, absolutely normal. Just brace the bottom of the header with your other hand so it doesn't slam down (no sense risking damage to sensors) and you'll be fine.

Yep. Use two hands.

When putting the top up, I often have encountered where the top would slam down. Just hold your left hand up to keep it from doing that. Once the back part of the top is latched and you get that "beep", use your right hand to twist the handle and pull the top down in place.

Anyway, anyone want to count the sensors on this car? Top (probably about 12 right there), trunk lid position, oil (several right there - maybe 3 in one)...
