An Unexpected Purchase...
Greetings all... I know that I've been very quiet since my initial few posts and questions, but I've been doing a lot of thinking, researching and soul searching about what car I should really buy. Yes, I was second guessing my initial choice to look for a Crossfire, afraid that it would not be all that it was cracked up to be or that I would not find one that A) I could afford that was B) in my criteria of what I wanted for a car.
Well, Saturday my other half and I just happened to be driving by a local Honda Dealer (David McDavid) in Frisco, and there she was... A BEAUTIFUL 2007 Roadster with 19000 miles on it.
We honestly only went in to look at it as I still have 9 months on my current lease and was not really in the car buying mode.
To make a long story short, all the stars aligned. The price was good, the car was sweet, the test drive mad up my mind about the fact that I wanted a Crossfire, and the dealer was hungry! Even my other half offered to let me trade in his Jeep Wranger (which we owned free and clear) and offered to drive my current car for the remainder of the lease. (No Hardship, I assure you... It's a VW Eos and a lot of fun to drive in its own right).
SO, Today I am the owner of a beautiful new toy!
Now, Where can I buy some of the accessories? I'm looking for:

- Floormats
- Bag that fits in the clips between the seats
- Karmann Badges.
- Any other fun stuff you can think of!

Congrats!!!!

Do you know what they are?
They are Chrysler wheels, so I'm assuming the previous owner added them as a dealer option. When I first saw it from the road, I thought it was an SRT too...
Probably a good thing it isn't.. I'd just get in (worse) trouble!

You might be in luck!
They are not special wheels. They are SRT wheels repurposed for this special run of red Crossfire Roadsters with base options. Only done in Inferno Red and only available in '07.
Truly a unique version of the car, the wheels really make them stand out. The black trim against the Inferno Red is, in my opinion, an improvement over the brushed aluminium trim pieces.
Unless you wanted heated leather seats, fog lamps, and a nav system that doesn't work, you missed nothing found other Crossfires.
Drive train, performance and the perma grin are the same as other Crossfires.
welcome to the club.
See you at TMS! right?

Looking at my calendar, I'm out of town that weekend, but you can be sure to see me at many of the other events (as long as I know in advance). I was a regular at many of the Porsche and 914 specific rallies when I had my teener, so I'm looking forward to getting back into GEAR HEAD mode!

If these wheels do not have the dark gray on the inside then someone just bought SRT6 rims and put them on this good looking blaze red XF.

You have an SE Roadster, From Edmunds.com:
Unique to the base Roadster was an optional Special Edition package (2006 and '07 model years) that included Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat exterior paint, Dark Slate Gray cloth seats, SRT-6style cast-aluminum wheels, a black windshield surround and satin silver door handles and side louvers. Otherwise, nothing much changed until 2008, when the base trim was dropped.
