OKAY! I shouldn't have opened my mouth. We are in for a week of heavey rain, high winds and even a possabilty of hail. The ocean waves are supposed to be 10 - 15 feet. I will never try to make anyone jealous again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Predicting lots of rain up north, too. Maybe some flooding, usually out by Infineon Raceway. Our first year in Vallejo; we have not experienced having to detour via back roads. It would be fun in my XF. This rental
minivan, while great for hauling, isn't great at handling.
All that California rain translates to up to 6 feet of snow here. Think I'll keep the XFs garaged till Spring. Really have no choice. Thanks California for sending it our way, Our snow feeds water to the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix), just wish they would help move some.
Fluffy powder. Sking will be open and all the tourists and valley peopple can't make it up the hill. Great news -- superb sking (no lines at the lifts), less car crashes except for the idoits who want to go 60 in a foot of snow. Many have CA, southern trier and AZ plates.
Tonight should be the big one at least for this week -- 3 to 4 feet of snow. Looking at the weather between CA and HI, we have more low pressure systems lining up. CA may be in for some big land slides. Hope not for them. One garage wall where the snow comes off the roof has 8 to 9 feet on snow on it. That's about it for now, I am off to go snow shoeing with the dogs. They love fresh powder.

Well it is official sunny Arizona -- Flagstaff had 54 inches of snow. More expected next week. Crossfires enjoying a long winter's nap.

No culture? Are you kidding me? There is an Italian restaurant down the road. And then there's the.... um.... well there's a moe's.

Plenty of chic-fil-a!
And the weather here is great, right now it's warmed up a little bit, kinda nice. Of course, it's pouring rain and the wind is blowing hard. Temperature isn't bad though....
Well those of us not in Cali can take consolation in the fact the weather is getting more humid out there compared to when I was growing up there. Give it a few weeks and it will be as muggy as Houston

I guess those of you in the midwest and East are getting blasted again. You have my sympathy. It is raining again here in Sunny Southern California.
