Quick Touch Top Spring Sale!
I installed mine today and it works GREAT !! The top now opens like it should, Thanks!
It took about an hour to install and the directions were right on but I have one word of warning, the black wrap around the cars wiring harness will leave a hard to clean up mess on anything it touches so be careful especially if you have a white interior like mine !
If you have a Roadster order one today!!

Where can I find out more on the IPOD connection? I looked at the website but no luck.
Finally installed my Quick Touch today, along with my lighted sill plates since I already had the console out I figured I might as well do both. The Quick Touch was easy to install. The lighted sill plates were a PITA, mainly because my short fat fingers has a really hard time pulling out the wires I needed.
I bought one of these last year and I love it! My wife teases me about my laziness, so she calls it. Of course, I tease her about reusing her toothpicks in our truck. She says that it is for the convenience, not the cost savings...
Anyway, I've been thinking about the quick-touch top switch and have a question. As you all know, the automatic feature applies not just to the convertible top but it also works when you double-tap the top control button to raise or lower the windows in tandem. My question is this - is there an automatic reversal or stop built in? I haven't tried testing it, but I worry a little bit about someone getting their fingers caught between the windows and the convertible top when the windows are raised with the top up.
I know that I can just not use that two-window feature; however, I've gotten used to it and I'm not sure I can break the habit.

Thanks for the well-wishes, Rudy - it is a great feeling having a grandchild.

For those of you that have this installed, how long do you have to hold the button down before you can let go? I hold mine down for 5 seconds and it still stops on me, then I push again and it will finally complete the cycle on it's own. I've tried holding for a few seconds, letting go and pushing again but it still stops. It just seemd that I have to hold my button down for more than 5 seconds to get it to work properly.

Btw, FP was having the same issue and it was also due to timing. That and he was counting uno-uno milli.

I was so tired when I got home from work yesterday that I didn't fool with the top. It was a long 12 hour day. The wife took the Crossfire to work today so I will try what we discussed tomorrow & give you a call again. By the way, I realized last night that I should have sent you a PM regarding this question instead of posting on the this thread. I hope you don't think I was trying to throw you under the bus, that wasn't my intent. I just wasn't thinking (us old people don't think to fast anymore). If anybody is still on the fence about ordering this I would still highly reccomend this Quick Touch.
Rudy, will you be installing at the CAA? If so you can use my shop.
Anybody doing a Eurocharged tune might be interested.
Let's see who could that be..
Well, Hmmmmm... ME!
