Default What the heck is this?

OK, We got the new car home and I was going through the trunk and came accross what looked like some cupholders.(Pictures posted in my gallery) I can't find anyplace they would fit in the car and I didn't see anything in the manual. Anyone wish to try and guess what these are and where they go? Also, I see on the build sheet a notation for "Patriot Badge" again, anyone care to explain?

Thanks

That's an aftermarket cup holder. It slides between the passenger seat and center console.

Nice interior option. I haven't seen that in a red roadster. Very pretty.

i saw that interior combo on a black roadster in long beach. almost pulled the trigger (stunning), but looked at the engine compartment and it just seemed to be missing something. as for the patriot badge, i dunno. afaik, jeep is the only chrysler product to use that nomenclature. and the cupholder thing...i'm one of the minority who likes the single flip-up teutonic rationale of it. anything else is, well, duck tape on the dash.

As you go throught the vehicle, make sure you have this wrench: https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...a/500/top7.gif
It's usually located in the trunk or the pocket in-between the seats.

Need more info on the Patriot Badge issue, but it's probably related to another vehicle in the dealer's inventory at the time. What is the "build sheet' that it's on?

Agree on the Vanilla/Charcoal interior - Looks best on yellow, white, red & Aero blue vehicles IMO.

Thanks to this forum, I'm familiar with the multi-function tool and how some cars seem to have theirs missing. I went through the entire vehicle looking for it and was just about to give up and try ebay when I checked the bag containing the front license plate bracket. The multi-function tool was inside, still in its plastic wrap along with the instructions on how to remove the protective cover for the top.

I went to Chrysler's Customer Assistance website in hopes of gaining assistance in replacing the original window sticker. The original selling dealer in Pensacola lost his Chrysler franchise in the bankruptcy (must be a Republican) and I couldn't contact him for help. Chrysler emailed me back saying since he was no longer in business, I could go to my local dealer and they could order the sticker. They also included the factory "build-sheet" for the car and one of the items listed was:
MSJS Liftgate Chrysler Wing Badge
MSNS Grille Chrysler Wing Badge
MTTS Patriot Badge
MWLS Roadster Style Hoops

I was just curious if anyone else had seen this on their build sheet and what the significance of this was.

I am trying to restore as much documentation for the car as possible since I am positive this will be considered a "classic car" by more than just the people on this site.

I'll check my docs tonite for the Patriot badge wording.

Also, remind me at the Cruise (or earlier function) to give you a Crossfire sales brochure. I've got a few of the last ones, which cover your year.

Harbor, your generousity is overwhelming. I look forward to meeting up with you, CrossfireFrank and others. Just wish the weather was as nice here as it was in Florida. I'd like to get the car out of the garage, but I'm afraid it would want to head towards I-75 and "home."

The tool / wrench was in my glove box still wrapped up.

I have the original price list sticker and other paper work for the car.

The strange thing is that my list says that the navigation system is standard and I do not have one and neither did the last 2 Crossfires the dealer had 3 years ago. I have the sound system that is suppose to have it.

Has anyone else been missing the navigation system that says it is standard. In Canada, the only options were the 2 tone interior which I have and the better rated tires which the car also has.

My '05 Limited did not have Nav as standard equipment, something I added and yes it's a CDN car. My '05 SRT6 did come with Nav and it was an option and yes it's a US car.

Hate to deviate from original content, but is Jackson the Crossfire capital of MI? I spotted a black coupe westbound on US127 yesterday afternoon. Nice car, hope he's a member of the group.

YES- We have a lot of crossfires in Jackson. Extreme Dodge sells a lot of these cars. I think they have sold 20+ this spring already. They are a common sight in this area. Hope your enjoying your new ride.
