Newbie XFire Owner ~ I've Reached the Promised Land...!!!
I just picked up a 2007 Sapphire Silver Blue Roadster, Red Interior, 6 Spd Manual, 13K on the Odometer, with that new car leather smell, and I think I just died and went to Heaven.
I drove it home 85 highway miles from a Chrysler Dealer, and when I landed in my driveway, I shut it down, and then just sat there for what felt like an eternity, complimenting myself on how smart I was, and what I had just experienced.
This is coming from someone who has been fixated on BMW's for most of my adult life, starting with the BMW 2002, and ending with a Turquoise BMW 1973 3.0 CSI Coupe (with a 4 Speed Manual).
My XFire reminds me of my '73 BMW 3.0 CSI in eye-catching ability. Just take one of these puppies Downtown, park it on Main Street, and it's sure to draw a crowd.
I've always said, and still believe, that nobody builds a car like the Germans, and the XFire met that standard on my first short drive.
Okay, I know that sooner or later stuff happens, it goes with the territory on any sports car, but right now I'm enjoying the moment.
I'm sure I'll have questions and issues down the road, and this looks the place to get help and compare notes...So Thanx in advance for your Support.
I'll post some pix shortly of the Xfire, and throw in some Pix of the '73 Green BMW 3.0 CSI (that I had sold a few years back, a story for another day)...
It's good to be king...

Congrat on the xfire. I have had mine for over 2 years now and still feel just like you. Never really wanted a German car to be honest, but such a sweet running thing, she just makes me smile.
I'm in Houston, let me know if I can help. come to a GTG where ever you are close to, great fun and great people.
