Default Removal of panel behind Roadster seats

Does this panel come out? The one that contains the sub speakers. If so, what are the steps to take it out<

Don't want to mess with that one. That houses your gas tank. Welcome to the forum.

Gas tank yes, but it is a structural member of the body.
Take it out and you'll have a noodle for a car and for a brain.

The piece of carpeting covering the panel literally will slide out when you have taken all the necessary hardware off, including the umbrella hooks in the center. Once everything is removed, it is one single piece that is shaped like a giant U with the center of the U going over the center console.

You are not suggesting that it be removed I am sure.
As a sheet of 4' x 8' plywood will still not go in it.

I just wanted to know if it is removable. The upper right corner of the map pocket has pulled out and I was thinking that if I could remove the panel, I could reattach it. Any other suggestions out there?

He said Panel so I am assuming he meant nothing more than the 'panel' that covers the subs, wiring, etc. which I tried to assist him with removing. No one is talking about taking a welding torch to the gas tank

LOL.... Yep, I did not go down the path of structural modifications when I read the OP. Simple request, and your advice was spot on.
