Default Looks like the XF

Just now saw the new Mercedes SLK Roadster to be released June 2011. Dang - it is an XF in disguise. Alicia

Yes, they are nice but a little rich for my blood. I'll take my 05 roadster and laugh all the way to the bank.

Uh... well, the XFire is pretty much an SLK 320, so, to then say a newer SLK looks like an XFire is kind of backwards.

Reminds me more of a two seater Lexus then a Xfire. BUT it is a nice looking car with plenty of power. I did think it interesting that their base model has a 6 speed stick with an automatic as a upgrade. Maybe that stick came from their work on the Xfire.

I like the thought of a 305 hp 3.5 engine and wish M-B had shared that instead of just their 3.2 engine. And 39 mpg sounds sweet, but it appears it only comes as a 7-speed automatic -- not very "sporty". All in all, I would buy 5-6 more Crossies rather than one of these.

I was just thinking that when I looked at the picture. It is certainly a good looking car and that is all that matters.

Yup, but I'm laughing harder. Just like I'm laughing that the original owner of my Xfire left $26,000 worth of depreciation on the table when she sold it. That's $1.85/mile, not counting any other expenses!!!! I sure wouldn't laugh about that.
