Default windscreen help

Had a date in the new Roadster last night. Hair half way down her back and didnt want the cap.
Conv struggled @ 85mph although I could hear a pretty loud scream of exicitment when I came thru the cloverleaf @ 90 comming out of the the curves . I need a windscreen. Now. Ive seen almost every post and every different opinion. I like the clear, even like the etched although Im not sure if lighting it up is going too far. My biggest concern however is glare. Am I going to see headlights in my rear view. or Streetlights going by if its tilted. If theres no way to avoid it all I guess its mesh for me. Unfortunatley I sometimes need the rear view. (or I wouldnt have seen Hollywood PDs Red&Blues last night). only got me @50/35 no tik nice guy
anyone who uses either wind restrictor or windblox Please let me know

I have the clear windblox. No issues driving at night with glare. However long hair will still need a ballcap, scarf, or something to keep hair from blowing. Dont believe the pictures on windblox site with womens hair at 35mph & 65 mph. These windscreens dont do that much in my opinion.

My biggest issue is being able to use me bluetooth. I Have a Jawbone W/ noise assasin. I guess my cockpit wind is louder than a heavey duty Vac, a speeding Locomotive And a 727 with reverse thrust on full.

I have the Wind Restrictor and love it. I must admit though when it is lit it does distort your rear view some. It can be wired to the tail lights to only come on when braking.

There is some reflection from the guages at night. Even more annoying, it catches rain easily which effects visibility. IMHO, a lighted unit would be more difficult to see out of. Maybe you can suggest that your date rest her head in your lap to avoid the wind?

I have a non-lighted Windresistor from King Penn Ind. It cut the wind noise tremdously, and it cut the wind a lot too, but your sweet thing will still need some help with her long hair. I like the head in your lap suggestion the best, really sounds like a winner. As for glare, or problems seeing the rear view I have no problem.

This will only work with an auto tranny.

If it's a manual, it gets cumbersome popping up and down every time you have to shift gears...

Moving head could be a good thing. Manual trans is actually better, I think.

+ 1 on the WindRestrictor; you still get some airflow and it seems to cut down on the noise pretty well.
I actually have a spare that I was thinking of getting rid of; somehow it was manufactured with a reverse curve (curved in towards the driver/passenger instead of out) and I didn't realize it was wrong until I saw another. (I bought it from another member)
I talked w/ Stephen @ KingPenn about how to fix it, but wasn't excited about it, and couldn't get the correct curvature I wanted, so Stephen was very generous in getting me a new one.
Having said all that, if you're interested in an engraved WR w/ a slight defect and is straight up/down, PM me and I'll send some pictures.
I'll be out of town until Monday so I can't send any pics until then.

Cool Re: windscreen help

IMHO....if you ride with the windows up at speed and use a windscreen, it will cut out a lot of the hair blowing.
