Congrats and welcome to the forum.
That new, she'll do just fine. One word of advice-tire patch kit and needle nose pliers (OK,that's seven).

Welcome! Took my 2007 roadster to the Colorado mountains, one way 550 miles. Drove like a charm and had a blast!

You will love the car. Bring a towel or something soft to put on the center console for your elbow. It can get a little sore after 8-10 hours!

You should wait a week & come to the Dragon with us April 8-11 in NC - you can go to FL after!!! NC is on the way to FL!!

Welcome. It will run great. My son followed me down from MI to Tallahassee last August in his 2007 (the third in the signature) and it ran great and got 29-30 mpg. The car is loving FL.

Jerry,

Welcome to Crossfire! By now you've had a chance to get used to the car. We bought ours in JAN, and drove it home from Atlanta (actually a couple of hours South) to Corinth, MS. I never thought twice about it. I will, however, be buying a tire plug kit.

Your biggest worry is tickets. Maybe the love bugs when you hit Florida. There are probably some folks in this group scattered along the way if you run into trouble.

Enjoy!

Michael
