Very rare color combo 2008 Crossfire. Silver/Red interior
Hello,
Over a year ago I purchased this 2008 Roadster after enjoying a 2004 coupe for years.
I've yet to see any others in this color combo. I've seen plenty in the sapphire blue with red interior, but this is bright silver with red. Though it often tends to look like the blue when it's reflecting the sky.
I love it.

Jim Harbor has a silver roadster, not sure of the interior color.

Ah thanks.
Yeah I haven't hardly seen any in this color combo..especially in a roadster. Probably a few and a few coupes out there with it.

BSM w/cedar interior was common on coupes toward the end.
So was Oyster Gold Metallic with the same reddish insides.
Almost went silver and red with a cheap low mileage 04 manual
Then my better half, who learned to drive on a stick in her daddy's pickup, reminded me she lost that ability when she got her PhD
So I went for the SRT instead.
I did bookmark the thread on the guy who put a Cedar interior into his SRT (so he could give it to his daughter?)

Check out my signature for a pix of my Roadster.
It sure looks like the same color as the original post (and yes mine has the Cedar interior).
I just assumed mine was an SSB, but mine sure looks Silver to my old tired eyes.
Does the door or an engine label list the original color...???
Thanx...

That one is the Sapphire blue. Mine is true Silver. Two different colors, but the true silver can look like the sapphire blue because of reflecting the sky. My previous Crossfire was a 2004 Coupe that was blue.

At 120+ mph, it's all a blur to us Xfire owners...LOL...

The silver is a popular MB color and when first viewed the silver Crossie looks more like an MB that our crossies normaly appear. In my view the cedar seats are classic MB 320 and tend to re-enforce that perception.
Itis a great combonation. Especially if you are prone to putting MB badges on the car.

If not mistaken the color is called "Machine Grey" two new colors were introduced in later models, Machine Grey and Oyster Gold.

Yeah the Machine Grey is really nice. That was one of the colors I was on the lookout for.
Especially with the beige interior.

Here is a pic of Lisa's Machine Gray...

My 07 Roadster is BSM with Cedar interior. I love the BSM because it's completely monochromatic. Silver strakes/silver windshield frame/silver wheels/silver everything.

alot!
