Re: Very rare color combo 2008 Crossfire. Silver/Red interior
The cedar/dark gray interior is sharp with the silver, but they should have used a dark gray steering wheel with the combo. Just a little to much cedar, with the steering wheel is cedar. Just my 2 cents..... Dennis DTMenace

I don't necessarily disagree with you on the steering wheel, it is a bunch of cedar, however, it all matches up. From the door to the dash it's a solid block of cedar. It was very well planned out and that strip of cedar goes from the door to the dash and the steering wheel happens to be in that strip. In this particular case, the contrast steering wheel may have actually made the cabin look too busy.

Chrysler changed the steering wheel color on the Roadsters that had the Vanilla/Charcoal interiors, the 2005 with that color combo had the vanilla steering wheels, then I think in 2006/07/08 they changed to a charcoal colored wheel. It was more practical, the charcoal, and did not take away from the interior combo. Congrats on the great color combo, one of the rarer combos that were built.
Don't take offense, just my 2 cents

None taken Dennis. It will always just be personal preference. I've never seen the vanilla steering wheel, but I can understand how having a white steering wheel might be impractical...haha. Overall I like my interior for the same reason I like my MagnaFlow exhaust: because it's loud. But I would never hate on anyone whose taste is not as flashy. I feel like the BSM/cedar combo is like a mullet:, but instead of business in the front, party in the back it's business on the outside, party on the inside. Maybe I just don't like the idea of a slate steering wheel because I look at a cedar one every day and it's hard to imagine something different.
