How much would you pay for this Crossfire
I have an opportunity to buy another Crossfire. A black NA roadster stick. I will assume it is a 2005.
It has 750 miles on it. Yes, 750 miles.
What would you Pay?
THanks for your advice.

12 to 15 i would think limited NEW, are you the first to be put on the title if yes then maybe 1 thousand more if no a thousand less, jim
Jane - A lot depends on how it was stored over the last 7 years. If it's in great shape, I'm guessing somewhere in the high teens. Used car prices are very strong right now.
It'll need tires, battery and fluids from the get go.
Here's an '06 roadster on e-bay for a comp:
Chrysler : Crossfire | eBay

For reference, I recently paid $14,800 for a '05 Aero Blue roadster with 18k miles and had to fly to FL to get it. Excellent cond, auto and nav.

I'd look for a low mileage car that wasn't quite so low..

Im sorry but i would seriously question why only 750 miles, and i agree this car hasnt even been broken in. i believe you will spend a grand just getting it back to par for the fishy none use time?????????????
Im sure the low mileage is appealing, but i find it alarming.

In my opinion I think that your price offer would be relative to your needs and financial ability......what's it worth to you. If you were planning on buying a new small commuter car for say $20k but you have found this car instead, then to me it's worth the $20k. I'd much rather drive this gem than a Ford focus or Honda civic. JMO
Good luck in your decision.
Good luck in your decision.
Wow, thanks for all the advice.
This car was bought by a man of wealth to drive in
Shriner parades. He discovered that he didn't like to shift gears, thus the really low miles.
I tried to buy this car over a year ago because I needed to learn how to drive a stick for racing purposes. I offered him 14K and he wouldn't take it. At that time, it was about 2K above blue book.
Now, the guy has had some strokes and I think they are really interested in selling, but I don't want to pay that much. Honestly, I was trying to steel it, but by all your recommendations, I may have to pay more.
I really want a roadster so I can put the lid down and drive a stick, but having a place to park it amongst the current fleet that I own may pose problems.
I might make a low offer and see if they will take it or negotiate. I bet my husband will crap his pants when I come home with another Crosssfire.

Jane - Now the fun begins......the negotiation process.
Your points are it's a discontinued vehicle, service & parts are impossible to find and it'll need a lot of $$ to make it roadworthy, particularly the way you plan on driving it. Maybe you can throw some free medical advice into the mix.
With regard to you husband's reaction to the newest member of your fleet, just say you bought it for him.
Once you get it, the best way to break it in is to drive up here with Oledoc2u & BoilerupXfire to the Dream Cruise in Aug. Good luck!

I offered one of my Crossfires to my husband, but he can't get his golf clubs in them.
I am loving this thread and all of your comments. Thanks.

if you look at nada value the mileage from 1 to 39,999 get the same allowance. so bank wise having 750 vs 39,999 makes no difference. as another reference my 03 slk32 was a 1 owner 31k car that started at 25k and was sold to me for 18k. everything is negotiable sooner or later
