The Second Group People ( US )
Wish these were my words
There are people who drink coffee. Then there are people who mail order monkey-picked beans and roast them downstairs in their coffee laboratory.
There are people who check their email and read the e-news. Then there are people who build their gaming PCs piece by piece with the finest components available. Every year.
There are people who like pretty pictures. Then there are people who spend $5,000 on a single lens for their camera that is reserved for Wednesdays.
There are people who write letters. Then there are people who have taken hours of calligraphy training, have spent hundreds on the finest inks, and only buy paper with the exact luxurious feels and weight for the occasion.
There are people who like listening to music. Then there are people who spend $2,500 on the four foot power cable for their $100,000 audio system.
There are people who doodle. Then there are people who have row after row of art pencils with almost imperceptible differences in lead hardness.
There are people who go hunting. Then there are people who spend $4,000 on a .338 Lapua sniper rifle to hunt deer from 1500 yards away.
There are people who drive cars. Then there are people who love cars.
The first group will never understand the second. The second will always pity the first for their ignorance. The Camry is perfect for someone who drives cars. It will never, ever suffice for someone who loves cars.

Very true. I found out last week someone I know was getting a Ferarri as a suprise for his birthday. When I asked his sister in law what Ferarri he was getting I got a typical first group answer......a silver one with red interior.
