Default Another new owner - tool kit recommendations

Last Saturday I purchased an 05 roadster. It will be ready for me to pickup next week. I will be putting together a small tool kit to carry in the car. Other than a CPS sensor, tire plugs, and needle nose pliers, what other parts or tools are a "must have" to insure one can get home.

Just a thought, that CPS won't do you any goos without the proper size wrench or socket.

For starters you will need the Torx socket (E8), wrench and the know how to remove the CPS sensor. Not much use having the sensor and no way to install it.
PS with no spare tire an AAA membership would be handy.

Agreed, which is part of what prompted this thread. I'm assuming there is a basic set of torx sockets, regular sockets, torx screwdrivers, etc. that should be on board. Just wondering what sizes etc. should be in a small tool kit.

This car uses a lot of external torx. I carry these as well.

A tire plug kit could end up being very useful!

You will find six spare fuses in the fuse panel under the hood, check to make sure they have not been used by the previous owner.
