Default Passenger seat problem

Hi,
Suddenly the passenger power seat back stopped moving to one of the direction. It just bends down but not up. What should I check first? Fuse? Loose button? Would that be possible that the motor got screwed for one of the direction only? The seat still moves horizontally without problem, i..e, it moves to 3 directions.
Appreciate your comments.
Marcos.

Sounds like a switch or electrical connection.

Is there anything I can inspect by myself or I have to visit the dealer?

Depends if your up for it. It requires the removal of the switch assy and taking apart the defective switch(seat back adj.)
