New to the Crossfire. Opinions needed.
I am in the market for a new to me car and have always been a Chrysler guy. The Crossfire caught my eye when it first came out but was not in my price range. I am currently looking at a 2005 Limited Roadster in yellow. Here is a link to autotrader.

These cars in Canada are selling for more then their American counterparts, that's just the way it works here. The car drives great and has all new tires. After reading through the buyers guide on this forum the only issues I found were a foggy passenger side headlight, leather around the shifter has cracked and some of the silver paint on the interior trim is wearing off. With these known problems and 100,000 KMS (60,000 Miles) does this seem like a reasonable price? I know I can get it a bit cheaper but just wanted some input from the crossfire experts.
Thanks for your time!
Patrick

I think that it's a little high for that many km's. I have the same car in an '07, bought it a year and a half ago from Detroit for the same money. Bringing them back is a breeze - just follow the rules. So don't be afraid to make a deal in the US.
I'd say that the roadsters are not moving well this time of year, and you've got time to look around before the season starts. So don't rush into anything now - take your time and see what else you might find. There will be better deals out there for sure.
And being a Chrysler guy is meaningless - you're in Mercedes territory with these.

I know that there are some of our neighbors to the north that have purchased their XF down in the states and transported back to ol' Canada. Some of our Forum members have great cars for a very good price.
Take your time to research the Canadian purchases by Forum members. You might be able to contact them and get some insight.
Good luck.

Yeah the Mercedes territory isn't really new to me either. My 300C was mostly left over E class parts.

I promise I wont put rims that big on the Crossfire!
I always worry about the US cars and their accident histories. In all reality Carfax is useless here too.

Well, if you are worried about US cars, you might want to look up a car's VIN on carfax.com. Although carfax won't report everything, they will usually report any accident issues with a car.

If you want a roadster look South of the border, look in the no salt states and less miles.
Seems a high for that many km's.
I picked up an '08 Convert. in Sept. 24,000km, garge queen, just outside of hamiltion Ont.
for $16,000

Get your name down for the Southern Ontario Crossfire Owners.
I live in Aurora, imported mine from the US 2 1/2 yrs ago. I probably payed the same price than, for 28,000 miles. Same car, but black. Importing is no problem, pay HST at border, pay $200 when you get home and take it to Canadian Tire. Done...
