Howdy! 2008 CF Limited Roadster
Just bought my 2008 Crossfire Limited today. Figured I'd better join a forum and learn some stuff.
Fortunately I know how to use the search function so I will not be asking about
-the cup holder
-the spare tire
-rim and tire fitment
-nitrous
-adding a turbo or SC to my NA 3.2L
-flashing the ECU for oogles of HP
-proper care of my rag top
-exhaust mods / cat delete
I plan on dropping her an inch or so with new rims at some point in the spring. Maybe 19s with 285s in the rear. Upgrade stereo to a 7" pop up DVD screen, maybe dual small 8" subs. No plans for HP increases, she's zippy enough as it is. If I feel the need for speed, I can take my husband's Porsche 928 out for a spin, it's pushing over 800HP. We drove the SRT6 but hated the interior and the goofy ricer wing on the back. Though it was quite quick, and fun with the traction control off. burnout.gif
Here she is. I think she has just about every available option.
Going to enjoy our new bundle of beach cruising joy

CoolAide - Congrats on the new ride. Very cool color combo that I don't think I've seen yet. You'll love the car and will soon find out there's a very active owners group down there. I take it you're in the Pensacola area.

Yes, Pensacola.
Love it so far. Test drove a dozen cars the last 30 days. I was going with either an 07 SLK350 or 2005 SL500 as of 2 days ago. Then I saw this beauty. One test drive and I was sold.

Nice Roadster, I love the color combination...I had a SSB Roadster with the Cedar interior...I miss it
I'll let you slide on the comment about my ricer wing lol
Congrats on your new ride. Florida roadster - nice combination!!!
And welcome to The Forum. Lots of great fellowship & knowledge within this website & membership.

^Done. Decal is gone. Also added a nicer plate frame. Then changed the gear shift **** out to a nicer black leather one. Sorry but the plastic silver one felt cheap. My husband also restored the headlights this morning. Not perfect but much better.
My husband is completing the high pass filter mod on the front speakers right now. Too much good info on this sight.
Need to look up how to drop it a bit now. Maybe an inch in the front and 1.5 in the back.
The previous owner had a plexi windscreen installed, however it rattled a lot so I took it off. Is this an aftermarket piece or was it DIY? Just wondering if it would work with better mounting hardware.

Actually your interior is called "Cedar/Slate". It was a must have option when buying our car. I think it looks great in a Black XF too.
I think it's really interesting how a young lady can get away with calling a SRT's spoiler "Ricer" and nobody says anything.
A guy, (especially a nu-bee) would have had an attitude adjustment performed for free.
Florida has lots of Crossfire forum owners and (thanks to the weather) they have GTG's year round. Don't hesitate to take advantage of as many as you can.
You won't find a better bunch of automotive enthusiasts on the Web to hang out with.
Enjoy!

The ricer wing statement was meant as a fun jab... I was honestly expecting some backlash, but everyone was very polite and held their composure..
Though as I was looking at buying the SRT I kept thinking about how hard it would be to swap to the other trunk lid with the smaller pop up spoiler...
I'll check out Florida GTGs, hopefully something will pop up near the panhandle.

Welcome and enjoy. Not sure if Tally qualifies as panhandle, but if you see a metallic gray coupe with Michigan plates (SH GOAL), that's him.
I, too, like the cedar interior. I also like the whalefin on my SRT6, as well as the pop up on my roadster. What's not to like?

Has any one used the stick on wood grain kits with any luck? Too much silver for me.
