Howdy! 2008 CF Limited Roadster
Congrats on the ride. There is a few rules here...wash and wax your new ride weekly (esp that you are in Florida) must keep up the image. Be ready to play "Vanna White" and answer all questions, open the hood, show off the MB parts any time you can, take folks for a drive just so the envy will increase, and always smile when you get the thumbs up everywhere you go. Play the right Tunes.
Now where did you pick up that Cup holder...one of the best Mods I have seen.
Welcome!

How do I find the buildnumber and date? Is it just the last 5 numbers of the VIN?
The auto report the dealer showed me said it was first sold in January08 and built in June07 I think. I am the third owner.
First owner showed as Dealer promotional car? Does that mean Dealer Demo car? It only had 25 miles recorded it's first year.

Black Roadster with Cedar interior, and low mileage, was my Dream car, but it had to have a 6 Speed.
I looked for a few months, but no could find one. So when the SSB with Cedar showed up, I jumped all over it, and never looked back.
I'm in pig heaven with my Roadster...
Also, update your Signature, so you can look kool (like me)...

I have found multiple dates on the car, which one is correct. Under the hood it says 11/06. Was the engin made in 06?

If I remember correctly, the door placard also has the MMYY listed on it somewhere.

Since your XFire is an 08 model, you may still be able to get a copy of the original window sticker, if you're interested. You can contact Chrysler via Customer Service on their website and send them the vehicle VIN. Ask for the info to obtain a copy of the window sticker. According to Chrysler, they authorize the original selling dealer to request a window sticker for the car up to 5 years from initial sell date.
I did this and was given the original dealer contact info. I then talked to the dealer's Customer Service and they got me a copy of the window sticker for my car. Original dealer did this for me for no cost. Some may charge you a fee for the window sticker.
There are only 3 obstacles:
1) If it's been more than 5 years since the original sell date, your screwed!
2) If the original dealer was closed down by Chrysler during their dealer downsizing effort, your screwed!
3) If the original dealer still exists, but is worthless (and some are), they may tell you to take a "flying leap". Screwed again!

The last Crossfire produced was # 76047. You are only 84 units away. The are no records available to tell which was the last roadster. You must be real close.
Congratulation on the new ride ................ looks great ........... I must say that I'm more jealous of that Florida sun and white sand beach scene though. Oh well ............ not as many hurricanes in Vancouver.
