Default Drive it "Nerdie" style? Poll

My daughter made fun of seeing a convertible going down the road with the top down and the windows up. She coined it driving nerdie style. Do you drive your roadster nerdie style?

I call it looking like a tool. If you don't want wind put the top up! If you want a little bit of wind leave the top up and roll the windows down. If you want wind put the top down. How hard can it be?

If you wanna drive with the top down in cold weather, put the windows up and turn the heater on high ( even though you sure enough look like a tool then ..... )

I sis acceptable ONLY when acting in a chivalrous manner: such as when the wife threatens you.

Otherwise: no. Never. It's not driving "nerdie" style. It's driving "girly" style.

Sometimes I get SICK of the NOISE of cars and such in the lane next to me at speeds above 60 or so and will put the windows up. Not often, but once in a while.

Sounds like a personal decision. My motto is not to mess in someones sand pile.

Darn Engineers my windows go up on auto when the top goes down.

+1. Much much quieter in urban freeway traffic.

Well, if I was ever being of accused of being a nerd instead of a red neck, I might get offended. You might see my middle finger extended above my rolled up windows..... But again, I just don't see me being a nerd driving a beautiful black roadster down the road windows up or not.....I see it as having fun in the sun...with less noise....since it usually my wife complaining about her hair.....lol

I don't know if it applies to ALL roadsters, but in mine I can hit the top switch one quick time in the direction I want BOTH windows to go, then hold it and they both go up/down together .....

~ top down, windows down ~ or ~ top up, windows down... anything else looks stupid imo.

perhaps a sunroof or coupe is better fit for the windows up, top down driver?

Can you see my middle finger....it is extended.....oops, now both are extended...how hard can it be? That is why my top is down with the windows up.......you wouldn't see them any other way.... Everyone who has ever owned a 'vert knows it is either noise or wind blowing your wife's latest expensive hair do around... But, hey, this is my 1st vert, so what would I know, other than I will drive it the way I want to...nerdie or not.... and usually well ahead of the next guy.... I know why I like my coupe better now....too much sun on bald heads cause threads like this....

i put windows up a lot of times if I'm on the frwy, so I can hear the radio. In cold weather it is much nicer with windows up. I drive windows up and sometimes windows down, just depends.
