I have a all black murdered crossfire convertible how do I know If it's a coupe or a roadster? And is it a base model or limited I know it's not a srt.

A coupe is a coupe and a convertible is a Roadster.

And, Coupe OR Roadster, the Base models had:

No Fog/Driving lights
No (Heated) Leather seats
No Satin trim on the side stakes, door handles, or windshield trim
No Chrome "Crossfire" door trim
No available two-tone interior
A black air cleaner housing instead of satin
Low-powered sound system with no external PA and no speakers behind the seats
No TPMS or Homelink Door Opener
No available Automatic Transmission

 

I feel like an investigation needs to be started here. What was the demise of this particular vehicle? Gun shot wound to the head? What?

 

This is easy : If someone shot the skull off the car and it has a big black bandage on it .....you'd call it a Roadster.

Was a police report filed? Seems like a gruesome way to go, murder and all....

 

I think what he mean is the car all black out wheels and everything on the out side

 

Murdered means all black everything 5 percent on side windows n rear 35 on the front windshield. Lights all

Pizzaguy didn't own that particular XFire. But the Owner is well-known and I will agree with pizzaguy, that "black beauty' was really something to see up close. But don't fret, Owner now has a graphite gray beauty that comes pretty close!

 

Preciate it is the owner still on the forums, He got a name? Cause if im not mistaken this car was crashed a while back like off a cliff. Just trying to catch up with the owner.

Hey Doc, thats the start of a good storybook... The story of the Murdered XF... Anyway, I've seen some "MURDERED" (in the true sense of the word) crossfires here over the years... Hey, its been a while since I saw the one that was being sold all over, the 'Black Max' edition... Now THAT was a MURDERED and partially RESURRECTED XF!

 

Jeez, Fabian, puhleeze tell us you did not rattle-can spray the rims black. I saw one of those a few years ago when looking for a XF for my son and it looked like sheet.

Really guys, has anyone seen the 'Black Max' lately? Its been what, 1 1/2 years or so since that abomination reared its ugly spoiler?

 

I'm pretty tired of the whole matte black thing. Its all over here, kids take some nice rides and make them look really sorry. It can be done tastefully on some types of vehicles, but these guys make junk most of the time.
Its lazy too, I know its expensive to get a real paint job, but hey that's why there is maaco !
