Installing License plate Bracket
finally found a factory bracket online, looking thru the forum I see folks refering to the instructions
for installing it.
What are the instructions? I dont want the dang thing falling off!
The torx screws dont look like they will grab into the plastic

The last thing I would do is make two holes in my front bumper. You ought to look around -- there are brackets that attach under the bumper and do not scar the front. Yes, the oem brackets will hold but drill a very small pilot hole.

Miata version should work just fine.. holes on the top surface over the lower vents..

My car already had holes in the bumper cover, so what I did was an improvement. Bumper can be repaired if need be at some point. for now I'm happy!

I actually think my OEM Miata brkt is at my parents house.. noticed one on Ebay for 100 bucks! Time to go dig in their garage I do believe.. LOL
