Ignition Switch issue... RESOLVED
My ignition switch on the crossfire, takes several attempts to get the key to turn....met some on on forum and he lives relatively close by.
This morning, he was kind enough to invite me to his home, and would help me make the repair that has been posted in the REPAIRS section. I'm over joyed at the results...I'm tickled. What should have been 20-40 minutes process, took me two hours. But, I'm happy to have done most of the process myself as the directions were read off to me STEP BY STEP.
Alaxfire -- you have no idea how much I appreciate you mate !! Not many folks would get involved in someone else's issues. Just goes to show how much you support the forum and friends. With all the external issues outside the car, it was "sweet" to get this repaired and one less thing troubling me.
Alaxfire.... My FRIEND...and I mean that. Much appreciate our time and your knowledge and being sportive of me.

Thanks for the kind words, George.
Always happy to help, I spent 20 years with NCR taking things apart and putting them back together, I seldom turn down an opportunity to do so.
I have been in remote database support for 28 years now, kinda miss the field and actual "hands-on" stuff.
I have met several Crossfire owners here in Alabama and can honestly say it has been a pleasure each time.
The list includes :
1. maxcichon
2. blacksrt-6
3. cjw
4. zip439
5. and now gfalcone

He did it all except for getting the harness off the back of the lock, doing the actual repair by removing the lock plunger and spring, and getting the cylinder back in after the repair.
