Where's the Advertising?
I don't know about other areas around the country, but it seems like every commercial I see for Chrysler advertises every car in their lineup except the Crossfire. What the **** is wrong with these guys? The Crossfire is the most beautiful car they have out right now and I have hardly seen it mentioned at all since I became a fan of this car. It get really pissed everytime I see one of their commercials talking about the 300, the PT or their Minivan without once a shot or mention of the Crossfire. That's a lot of Bull if you ask me.
I've seen quite a bit of advertising for the Crossfire in the Dallas, as well as Oklahoma City area. There are a couple of just Crossfire commercials, and then there is the full line commercial that shows the SRT6 and the roadster. They also had a roadster banner ad on the CNN website during the election coverage, and the TV commercials on CNN during the coverage.
The first 3-4 years the S2000 was introduced you never saw a single commercial. Suddenly, they had a commercial about nothing but the S. Now you see it creep into the occasional Honda commercial.
Greatness takes time...

How many S2000 do you see on the road? I see as many of them as I do Xfires and that is next to nothin. It seems that the manufacturers are reluctant to spend a lot of money on advertising their sports cars.
unfortunately, DC's marketing team is up to their same old stunts. they did this with the Pacifica, as well.
Then, it started gettin some commercial time. Give it time, Xfires will be on tv's everywhere soon.

I agree with Hotwhip. I love that Chrysler doesn't advertise the crossfire. I bought the car because they are so rare. I don't want to see 10-15 crossfires driving around my town.
Ditto here. One of the reasons I chose the Crossfire is because every Tom, Dick, and Harry isn't driving one. I love the look of the new Mustang too but I will probably never buy one because they're everywhere.
I would prefer that Chrysler did not advertise this car at all. Like what Harley-Davidson riders say. "If I have to explain it, you wouldn't understand."

My daughter ordered a new Mustang GT and we went for a tour of a couple of Jack Roush's buildings to see what they are doing as far as mods on them. He has some pretty neat stuff, and I learned a lot. There are 3 stages of mods that they do. Stage 1, exterior ground effects and new seats, Stage 2: stage 1 changes plus suspension upgrades. Stage 3, the whole sha-bang, horse power and stuff. They haven't started the stage 3 stuff yet. I think all she can afford is probably the tires and wheels. They are really cool and look very easy to keep clean. We also got to see his car collection. Very extensive, and not all Fords (mostly, but not all). He even had a concept car labeled "Cunningham". Was very cool. I just can't believe that I forgot my camera that day!! Friends of ours is getting a stage 3 convertible. If I see it (probably will take a few months) I'll try to remember my camera. I saw a stage 1 yellow with black stripes on the road last week. They do look awesome!
