Hi everyone,
I just have to find out what the heck to do to get rid of the Magnaflow rattle that I get from my new Magnaflow exhaust! Yeah some of it sounds great but not the rattle of something!


What can I do? Is there a suggestion? I want the sound... not the rattle of metal from something!

I made a bracket, it works but its not the most beautiful, but who looks under the car anyway. Just search magnaflo exhaust and the picture is in the post.

 

did you install it yourself? If not, take it back. It's up against something.

 

Excuse the horrible picture editing. The magnaflo hits the brace that is circled in red. Im not sure what the brace actually does and if the ride or handling is effected that much if its just removed, (the braces are the black things I tried to draw..lol)

I'm putting it under the knife on Monday with the mechanic who put it on in Porsche! I would think there is some specific thing that causes it... any idea what is really rattling?

Thanks man, now I know what you mean! Any idea of just putting something soft in there or taking the braces off completely?
