New Croosfire-What's not to like?
In 22 years of marriage my wife never picked our car. She was out with my daughter 2 weeks ago and she spotted one and told me about it. Based on that I had to look last Saturday which coincidently was our 22nd anniversary.
When the trade for my F-150 Lariat was right I told them to write up the deal. She was blown away. I've had some nice cars in my life, but this is our first ragtop. Boy did they get this right, Plenty of power, looks and excitement. We have the graphite with two tone gray interior.
Funny thing is that I hear comments on lack of power but I don't see it. Even funnier the car has a better feel when going slowly to see peoples jaws hit the ground in awe. Probably more people in church because the "thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife's car sin is broken alot.
Seriously, great forum and a great resource. I look forward to reading and posting on this sight. My car number is 44273. About the highest I v'e seen.

Hey, welcome to the forums!
I agree about the power. It's plenty for me. The people that put down the power of this car are comparing it to cars in our price range that do 0-60 in the sub 5 second range. Yes, those cars are faster. But then again, there are plenty of cars in the same price range that are 7+ second cars. Either way, we have one of THE best looking cars on the road and it's certainly one of the best handling as well.
Eh... I'm tired of reading and talking about the "slow" speed of the xfire. I love my car.
Have fun here. There are lots of cool people.

Hi Bryantdunivan, welcome to the forum! You're the same age as I am, and I got my roadster last August around our 28th anniversary! I really love my car too, but I envy you people that can drive them all year round with the top down! If your wife really loves the car so much, you may not get many chances to drive it! You may have to buy your own, haha!
Happy motoring!

Bryantdunivan,
Welcome to the Forum and congrats on the new ride!!!!!!!!
You will really enjoy this car.....get ready for a lot of attention. In regards to your statement about power...I agree its enough for me. What color combo did you get, when you have a chance you must post some pics of your XFire. Suggestion for upgrades.... the only thing your XFire will need in my opinion is 1) Rotex Gold Brake Pads for the front wheels, they will cut out about 95% of the brake dust that will accumulate on the front wheels and 2) K & N Air Filters our cars require 2 air filters. These two items will make your XFire experience all that much better. You can also have your ECU Chip reprogrammed, I not really into speed and my Black Pearl is chipped but the ECU Chip reprogramming in my case was a gift.
