Default Found screw in trunk.

I found this screw (see attached photo) rolling around on the carpet pad in the trunk. It looks like those used to attach the tonneau cover striker and latch, but they all appear to be present. All other screws I saw about this size were black in color. Anyone have an idea what this might have come off of?

Most fasteners are not self-tapping. At least the ones on the door locks are not, and I have lost a couple and had to replace them. Next time you raise or lower your top, stop it halfway and have a look around the "boot" area. You may see a place where a screw is missing.
