I would be careful about using ozone to remove the odor in your car. Ozone is a powerful oxidizer. It reacts / attacks all carbon based compounds. Depending on the the amount of ozone released inside your car it would likely remove the odor along wiith damaging many of the other carbon based materials like leather seats, plastic moulding, rubber hoses, and insulation on electrical wiring.

My 07 never had the odor. My 08 did. Someone on this forum recommended the bomb available in the auto department at Walmart. About a year ago I tried it.....FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. It worked.....the smell is completely GONE.

WARNING..........I set the bomb directly under the glove box & the ? Cold Spray /chemical ? of the bomb kind of marred a small surface area (lost it's gloss sorta).

As I remember you close up your car & run the air conditioner full blast (MAX RECIRCULATION ) for 10 or 15 minutes.
The stuff really worked.....just don't point it directly at your plastic dashboard.

The 08 still smells good !!!!!!!

Melted crayons smell like the inside of your Crossfire.

Pulled my bag of charcoal from the attic and found out that it was the "MatchLight" version. I said what the hell, set it on the floor mat, through in a match and, voila, the melted crayon smell (along with the crossfire), gone!

Ozone will bleach items but I do not know that ozone will modify or attack carbon or carbon compounds. Hydrocarbons ( us ) and other materials will become brittle and loose their color. Too much ozone is just bad generally. Enjoy, WDY

Ozone eats rubber for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You'll even find ozone poop in the woods after it has eaten bare rubber.

I used to own '69 blue roadrunners...both a coupe and convertible. I still own the tawny gold metallic '72 which I purchased when I was sixteen.

Getting the crossfire ready for a 500 mile trip down I-80 to see the folks back in NE Nebraska. No time to do anything other than install the charcoal cabin filter.
