You should ask them if you can drive the car right out of the showroom. My Husband did that with his 50th anniversary vette. It was kind of cool!

Mine should be in to the dealer this week. With the snow we just got in NY though the car won't see the outside till the snow is gone and the roads are dry again.

Corvette that is; those Corvettes lined up against the wall are waiting for their owners to arrive for delivery. Neat-o!

 

We went there last summer. That looked neet, but there was no one there to speak of to watch them get it. I guess you could tell all your friends to log on to that web cam when you were picking it up, and hope it was working. We had no idea who those people were. I can't remember how much extra they charged for that, not to mention the plane fare to get there. This way the local people could see him. What good is it to be spoiled if no one sees?

 

$450. U.S., I believe. I think that is in addition to the regular freight charge you pay the dealer.
Not 100% sure about that but if true, it really is a rip-off. Would be a special delivery though.
Also, only valid for orders placed within the U.S. dealer network.

Hampstead why did you not wait till the 05 plate comes out 1/3/05 did you get a big discount ?

I just bought a graphite grey roadster and pick up 1st thing Tuesday on the new plate 05 plate.

I got CR05 XXX for only £500 you can get some real good CR05 plates cheap from dvla.

 

I think that translates to $52,000+ US$s

Here in CaLi. there's a SRT6 convert add for $44,777.US$

They told me that Chrysler had dropped the price by £3000 to £26,600 as long as it is registered by end of month. I'm not bothered if that is true or not - as I say it was an impulse buy anyway. I only went out to walk my dog.
