I am covering the center consol in leather and installing the one touch thing too.
so far i have partly removed the center consol, i have disconnected the air line ok but there is also one wire feeding up into the console lock box mechanism that i cant find how to unplug and this is is stopping me totally removing the consol from the car. Do i have to rip more carpet back inside the box to get to it or ??.
any advice ??

 

OK fixed now , i got the wire out . It was the carpeted box section in the centre glove box that had to come out to get to the plug . That box section just pulls off and there was the plug.
phew!
