Unhappy Starting Question

The vehicle is a 2006 Roadster with 7300 miles ...
When you turn the key to start the car, it seems like the starter continues to ' run on ' and the
engine will not start; turn off the key and try again; it may start normally or the starter may
' run on ' again. Can you tell me what module is malfunctioning or what needs to be
replaced ? Other than that the car acts normal ... Thank you

Probably the pulse module, it is located inside the underhood fuse box next to the fender.

Thanks ! Is it something I can do myself ? AND what causes that to go bad ? With only
7300 miles .. I hope that's not a ' duh ' question ... thanks

Yes, you can swap it yourself.
If that turns out to be the problem, I have no idea why it would fail.
