So my Crossfire convertible top will not go down and my key fob will not lock or unlock my doors. I have checked the hydraulic fluid and it’s fine, I made sure the trunk panel was in the up position, I’ve checked fuses and connections and still nothing. As soon as you unlatch the top from inside, the button lights up red and beeps when you push it. I’m beyond frustrated..Any ideas?

Have you checked the micro switch in the top frame above the passenger's right ear ?

I know you TRIED and you THINK you posted a good description of the problem, but you didn't. MANY questions remain about how you got to this point, and answers to these questions may help us figure out what has gone wrong.

1) When you unlatch, do the windows go down?
2) Did the keyfob stop working at the same time the top quit working?
3) How old is the battery in the car?
4) What do the battery terminals look like?? Are they clean? Are they tight?
5) Is this a car that has been driven on salty, winter roads a lot?
6) Was the car stored over winter? If so, did these issues start when you got the car out this spring?
7) How long have you owned the car?

When I unlatch yes the windows go down
yes the key fob stopped Working at the same time
i’m not sure how old the battery is, but the car starts just fine
I clean the battery terminals and yes they are tight
No the car has not been driven on salty roads
Yes the car was stored during winter for the most part I did drive it a few times but never put the top down
i’ve owned the car1.5yrs and have never had any issues!
