Default MicroPod 2 wiTech

MicroPod 2 wiTech 17.04.27 for Chrysler Diagnostics and Programming does it work on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire

I ordered one and I think I got scammed. Where is a good site to get one that is if they work? What is the best way to troubleshoot complete system?

Would you want the one with the DRB 3?

Here's the link most of us have used to order the Micropod2 w/DRB3 Emulator. Everything that came works!

Looks like it is the same as the link you provided. Did you load the software on a laptop that runs either Windows XP or Windows 7? I ended up buying a re-conditioned laptop from an eBay Seller for something like $85-$90.

Does anybody have a current software download link for this? All links I can find are dead or don't contain the DRB III emulator.

Check out these posts:

MicroPod2 w/Wi-Tech (DRB3 Emulator) - See copy of my order. Everything was delivered, including the CD with the DRB3 Emulator software.

DRBIII Emulator Software - This post talks about possibly having to buy the MicroPod2 & then purchasing the DRBIII software separately. John&Terry is probably most knowledgeable resource to chat with.

Hope this helps.

Got mine as well. Works fine, except for connecting to the Airbag Module. Not sure what the problem is. Would be great if you could share your experience. Good luck!

Are you doing a total module scan or scanning individual modules through the DRB III emulator? I've had more success just selecting each module individually. What year is your car? There are quite a few aftermarket scanners than can scan the airbag module without any issues.

Selected the module individually. Have a 2005 roadster, for German market. I think the aftermarket scanners will not help me. I need to change a setting in the airbag module, not just a DTC reset...

OK received Micropod II with CD including DBRIII folder.

Installed on a Windows Touchscreen notebook. V17.04.27
Used "Install wiTech Micropod II V17.04.27 on Windows 7.htm" as guide.
Ran all the way through setups but must have missed someting.
Running the Witech software
First page finds usb - obdII scan tool but greys out when I select "offline"
Next page is for login, I click "offline" again
Next screen is "Flight Recorder" and not ""Veheicle Veiw".
Anyone have any idea what I did wrong ?

Hi,

forget about the wiTech application itself - it doesn't support the Crossfire. However, it ships with the DRB III Emulator you need. After connecting the MicroPod to your car and your laptop and turning on the ignition, wait until the MicroPod network adapter appears and open the magic URL
http://localhost:9876/launchExternal...p=172.22.22.22
in your web browser (no internet connection required). This should open the DRB III Enhanced Emulator in the background (behind your web browser) in case everything is correctly installed.

No, it shouldn't, if it was properly installed to that drive.
