Small lights in headlight housing

Default Small lights in headlight housing
Hi all,new to the forum.Have a 2005 roadster and would like to know if the small lights in headlight housing where leds originally.When I bought this year the passanger side started flickering so I pulling the headlight out and replaced with new one

No LEDs originally.
