Hi Guys

I don't drive my 2004 roadster as much as I should but recently I've started to notice some creaking noises coming from the junction between the screen and the hood when the roof is up. When it's down everything is fine but when it's up it creaks and groans like an old man over every bump in the road. I've had a look around for some worn out rubbers but can't see anything obvious. Is this a common issue with the roadster? Can anybody offer any clues as to what would be causing the noise?

Have you ever lubed the moving parts and joints?

 

That is because you have a very , rare car. A 2004 roadster, i am not deputing what you say but if you have a 2004 roadster, it is the only one i have ever heard of,,,. jim

 

Some countries give the year of registration as the year of the car, the UK does for one. What VIC is I have no idea.

 

Here's my guess: Victoria (commonly abbreviated as Vic) is a state in southeastern Australia.
