It's funny though, he tries to sell you tools that you can make yourself.
Yep. Like that miracle lube in the video. I actually want to try it out. Mainly for door hinges and certain slides and pins on my tractors that I have issues with. Its the same either the lube is so thick that I have to heat it up or so thin that it is gone in no time. I was hesitant to perform some tasks on my crossfires when I first got them. Watching his videos gave me a different insight to the German way of engineering. Its funny for me to listen to my buddies when they complain about how difficult it is working on a mercedes. Some things are difficult. But once I realized that almost every part on these cars is made to be servicable. Im not hesitant at all anymore. I jump in and I look for the service to the problem. That is how watching him and catching the key phrases changed my way of approaching a problem.

He has a whole video series on the M112 engine and what service to do and what service most people/repair shops forget to do or neglect but are very important.
Would like to know what everyone uses for lubricants for the top but also the body. I have used lithium on the door hinges and under the hood/trunk but as he mentions in the video I don't like how it dries and collects dirt/dust etc. there has to be a better one. And for the top there has to be a good one out there you don't have to mix and that already comes with a very fine almost needle like opening to just dab a couple of drops on the moving parts.
