Got my plaque several days ago, but just installed it last night. It looks very
good. To take care of the holes, I cut off short a couple of screws that would
normally be used to mount a hard drive in a computer chassis, and used a
little JB Weld to mount them in the holes. The JB Weld was applied to the
back side, just before mounting the plaque on the engine. Except for not
thinking to align the screw heads with each other, this looks very good.
Maybe I'll post a pic some time later.

Thanks for Karl for getting these done. Mine looks fabulous!

Screaminjoe,

Yes they are quite difference between the engine and dash plates. The engine plate is specific to the SRT6 and is made of deeply engraved aluminum and designed to take the punishment of being in the engine bay. The dash plaque shows a picture of the original prototype Crossfire and is a polished smooth surface with 3M self adhesive auto tape.

Let me know if you want a set.

JIMBOO HERE...I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PLAQUE ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT COME LOOSE AND GET INTO THE FAN BELT, INTERNALS, ETC.!!! WHAT IS THE MOST TRUSTWORTHY ADHESIVE TO USE IN THIS HOT METAL ENVIRON? I WOULD DRILL INTO THE LOCATION SO IT WOULD ACCEPT STAINLESS SCREWS, BUT FEAR GOING TOO DEEP AND PENETRATING THE SUPERCHARGER CASEMENT, THUS INTRODUCING MINUTE METALLIC PARTICLES FROM DOING THIS...HELP!

Jimboo,

I have had mine installed since August and it as rock solid as when it was applied.

I used J-B Weld. This has been used to repair cracked engine blocks. It works in 600 degree temps has a tensile strength of 3960 PSI and cures in about 15 hours.

If there is a problem I would suspect that would be because it was not given ample time to cure before the car was driven.

I made sure to roughen the surfaces with heavy grit sandpaper then wiped it clean before bonding it.

These are the instructions I have sent with the plaques.

I'm sure he will chime in, but check out his gallery. I have the engine badge, srt6 supercharged fender badges, and another I think was supposed to go on the glovebox but decided not to put it on. The fender badges were the metal ones. I think he makes plastic ones as well.
