Default GPS Module Error...

My radio display is showing this. I understand the problem and the manual says to take the car to the dealer. Anyone know what they do for this? Is it simply a reboot issue or do I have to get a new head unit??? I'm just wondering how long the car will be out of commission. Thanks in advance for the input.

Their response will be "That's Normal". LOL.

A few things to check ...

GPS ant plugged in?

Pull power away from the unit for 5 minutes and plug back in and load GPS map disc into the unit.

Otherwise there may be an internal failure in the GPS system.

They will probably check it, and if the head needs to be replaced, they will order one, and reschedule an appointment to install it. They will probably have the car for less than a day. Call your dealer. I bet this is what they tell you.
