Default Air Filter

I'm about to change my air filter's. Not going to dealer, ~ $75.00. I have been looking at the K&N. About $35 a piece... Any other input before I commit? I like the option of re-charge and improved air flow. Maybe more BHP???

I like mine, not sure if they make that much of a difference though, since I did all my hp mods all at once.
I got them off ebay for $35 each with free shipping and I'll never need to by air filters again, so I think that makes it worth it right there.

I got the K&N's from Ebay. $60.00 with free shipping. Did not notice any big increase in hp but it's nice to know all I have to do now is clean and re-oil my filters to have clean air again. Search post's about K&N lots of info on this forum about them. Be sure not to use too much oil when you clean them, it can cause trouble.

That link shows the K&N 33-2290 which is not the right air filter for the SRT-6.

The right filter for the SRT-6 is the 33-2256 which is more money on Amazon then can be found on ebay.
