Default Which One Would You Take?

For about the same price, which one would you buy. No brainer?

I'd go for # 2 the SRT it has a "Spare in Excellent Condition" LOL. But really Looks like a small rub mark on the front bumper but otherwise looks good and it's an SRT.

The only one I'd consider would be the SRT. I'd rather have the structure of the coupe and the extra hp, bigger brakes, tighter suspension, fixed spoiler, quicker shifting auto, and the exclusivity of having an SRT-6.

I don't know if it's really that easy to decide. One car offers the sun, the moon and the stars, with the wind in your hair, and the joys of a manual transmission at your fingertips all wrapped up in a great handling sports car.
On the other hand, With the SRT coupe, you get exclusivity, along with "Warp Speed" just by smashing the go pedal.
I suppose it all depends on what your priorities are.
For me, if I could find an SRT-6 Roadster 6-speed, I'd have to yes.
But then we all know how "rare" those are, don't we?

As stated in other threads, it doesn't make sense
an SRT6 coupe for that price. How can the tires have 90%
tread left. A bit scuffed in the front. Could this be another
Chrysler Experience vehicle??? KBB is $34K suggested retail.
Something is fishy in Vegas...

I don't thing there is anything fishy here... it is just a good deal on what they are going for now. The poor marketing of the car and the overproduction have led the car to fall heavily below the MSRP. I bought my SRT6 in August for 25 with 16k miles on it and I thought i got an amazing deal. A month later this became a Standard.

I can't read this any more. I'm getting depressed.
I got mine slightly (1,500 miles) used 1.5 yrs ago for $35K.

Don't worry guys... I think for the most part we paid the KBB value...

A few 2 years of sitting at the dealer these cars do depreciate...No one knew they would depreciate so much...

Thumbs up Re: Which One Would You Take?

SRT-6, no brainer, especially when you factor in perf, exclusivity and value.

Don't be depressed! While others have been whining about the price, and
waiting for it to drop, you have had the joy of being behind the wheel of
this magnificent car of a year and one half. So, figure what driving the
car for that long is worth, and add it to the $26K going price for today,
and see if you haven't gotten a bargain!

I paid a bit over $40K, but that was more than 2 years ago. I completely
believe that I've had a good deal. Great 2 years + $26K = priceless!

Fret not, ye of little faith. MB 300sl gullwings (1954 to '57 1,205 produced) depreciated by half in 3 years. They go for over half a mil. That's just one story. Real estate; location location location.Collector cars; rare, rare, rare.

I just got a notice from Chrysler. They will buy back your Chrysler
at 90% MSRP minus .29 per mile. That would put Kitty
at about $43.9K... I could make about $10K over what I paid.
The only catch is you have to buy
a new DC vehicle. At this point they don't have
anything I would want. Plus Kitty is my pride and joy.
Would not get ride of my car.
Has anyone else received this promo???

FP, one of the members from the other forum
lives in Vegas. She saw a black SRT6 that was
involved in an accident. It had a big 05
written on the windshield, possible test drive.
I wonder if it is the same one?? If it was one
of our members, I hope they are okay. The
ebay auction is over...

Matter of personal priorities. I love the Roadster and would not want the Alcantara seats of the SRT6. Also I'm partial to the non SRT6 wheels. As far as exclusivity goes again I'd go with THIS Roadster. Its one of one, the only Ltd Roadster on the planet with a 5 speed manual transmission. That sucker should be worth a fortune.

It's not a Limited, it's a base model roadster.

Didn't catch the Base model designation but I still don't think any Crossfire ever came with a 5 Speed manual.
