Cool Wonder what happened.

Only 236 miles, that was a quick love affair, hopefully no one was seriously hurt.

I think I'll pass on this one even though I love the duct tape paint job.

It seems like it was damaged while standing still. Like heavy machinery struck or pushed it, almost ran over it. I don't think it was hit with impact, otherwise the bags would have deployed.

You bet.

So how did the impact strip off the fixed spoiler from the rear? That seems odd in this case since the rear otherwise appears to be virtually untouched.

It looks to me like it did a little "off roading" and came to an abrupt stop when the front end hit an immovable object, and then it slid sideways and the drivers door came in contact with a tree or telephone pole.
The drivers side inner fender really got pushed in. The passenger side rear 1/4 panel has a good dent in it, the spoiler got ripped off, and they very carefully cropped the photo so you couldn't see the "gap" between the passenger door and front fender. But if you look real close at the photo of the right front fender, it looks like the fender is pushed right up tight against the door. Plus the passenger side window glass looks like it's not fitting very well, but then it could have come from the factory that way.
It would have been nice to have seen the car before they pounded out the inner fender, and the outer fender as well, but the front end damage even destroyed the plastic engine cover.
My guess is it would be considered a "frame damage" car, and would have to have some extensive time on the "Rack" to get everything straightened out.
Now if the person who owns that Fla. "flood" car could pick up this one for around 5K, and transfer EVERYTHING from the SRT to the former U-Boat, he might have a nice car.

I think they stuck it in a ditch.

I ran a CARFAX check on it. It was a 'Corporate Fleet Vehicle' in Ohio that was delivered on 08/28/2006. A Salvage title was issued on 09/13/2006. Guess those were a couple of wild weeks.
