2006 SRT6 Available
Here are the SRT6 pics from the 2006 Chrysler Crossfire Brochure (dated 01/06, also note that this is the brochure crossfirefrank got at his local dealer last week):

I see one small difference from the '05 brochure. There's an "SRT-6" badge on the side of the car in the '06 but not in the '05. My '05 SRT-6 does not have a side badge.
Finally - some definitive news from a mouth at DCX:
Some of you may know, I have been bombarding AskDr.Z.com with questions regarding SRT6 production figures and the existence of 2006 SRT6s.
Today, instead of the usual email, I got a phone call from a guy at DCX. He said the website staff forwarded him my latest email. He went on to tell me that DCX is not releasing specific production data on the SRT6s yet (breakdown by color, nav, etc.).
But, he did say that the SRT division is working on specific production figures dating back to 2003 and will eventually be posted on the SRT forums. Apparently the production number question has been getting fired at them from all SRT owners (i.e. SRT4, Ram SRT10, SRT8, etc.).
I then asked him about these brochures and how some of them have 2006 SRTs in them.
He told me that there were NO 2006 SRT6s built - period.
However, he did hear though the grapevine that there may be some sort of 2007 Limited Edition Crossfire,
though he had not data or specifics as it was only rumor and since DCX is in a total mess right now - who knows.
I went on to tell him that we have an international Crossfire club, and there are a lot of questions we have (thought I'd let him know that we've got some strength in numbers).
He has to call me back in a few days with some more information I requested. If he lets me know anything else, I'll post it.
Just wanted to give you guys the scoop.

OK, are there or not 2006 SRTs in the US? See this one.

This is what I got from running the VIN on the Chrysler website:
VIN Number: 1C3AN75N7 6X064172
Vehicle Description:
CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE CONV. SRT-6 TWO DOOR ROADSTER
Year: 2006"
Word of mouth RPM got from Chrysler:
"Then asked him about these brochures and how some of them have 2006 SRTs in them.
He told me that there were NO 2006 SRT6s built - period".
It just goes to show that DCX is giving out incorrect info.

Well that's a first. Never seen one, but the 10th digit of the VIN is 6 so perhaps it truly is. Although the seller has only a 90% feedback rating so I'm not sure that I fully trust him/her.
Guess DCX either doesn't know what they are talking about.

If this truly is a 2006 SRT6 (which it looks like it is), someone here, buy it - please.
Not sure if there were 'supposed' to be any '06 SRT6s.
Either way, it is rare, and in the rarest color - SSB, and in the rarest form - roadster.
Now I don't like the SSB color at all, but if I hadn't bought one already, I would be seriously considering this one.

The 2006 brochure clearly had revised SRT6 emblems and additional emblems on each front fender. This one has none of the above.

OK...if Chrysler is offering an '06 SRT6, why are they only listing base and Limited on their site.

Also if there are '06 SRT6s available in the US, why do they only show '05 versions on their Chrysler SRT site?
http://www.drivesrt.com/en/chrysler/
I even checked the Canadian website. No SRT6 listed.
http://chrysler.ca/en/crossfire/index.html
Australia lists all models (including SRT6) but no year.
http://www.chrysler.com.au/chrysler_...0-0-0-0-0.html
The German site doesn't show year designations, but no SRT6s to be found.
