2006 SRT6 Available
I went to Chrysler to get my oil changed in my car today and while I was waiting I took a look in the showroom. They had brochures on the new 2006 crossfire. It shows the base, base s.e., limited and srt6 available in both coupes and roadsters for 2006.The base comes in black or inferno red and the limited comes in 8 different colors. The srt comes in 4 and the base s.e. comes in two. A salesman seen me looking thru it and I asked him if all the models were available for order. He went and checked with the sales manager and said they could get all of 2006 models at this time and were sure they could even find whatever color combo I would like. Either these guys don't know what they are talking about or they know something we don't. They have about 50 handout brochures on the rack with the rest of the Chrysler product line. What do you think?

Not to burst anyone's bubble...I really hope that the dealership is wrong when it comes to the SRT6 model, I have read in the past that only in '05 was the SRT6 produced...around 2,900 were made (2,000 were coupes and 900 were convertible ) from a previous thread...would be nice to keep the SRT6 limited.
Here is that tread : https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=14288

Do you ever get the feeling that DCX just can't make up their mind???
First no more SRT6s after 2005 (for the USA)...
Then no 2006 models (for the USA)
Then there will be 2007 models with new colors and features...
What next???

If in fact this is true, don't expect a great deal. Dealers are willing to give the XFs away when they have them in stock because they are not moving at retail. If they have to order it for you regardless if it's a base, limited, or SRT, they will ask for a much higher price.

I have heard that there are some 2006 brochures out there with SRT6s in them, but haven't seen any yet.
I requested a Crossfire brochure from Chrysler.com again last week. Got it in the mail last night and guess what - it was the same one I picked up a year ago with 2005 Crossfire on the front and all 2005 model year data inside.
From everything we can gather, SRT6s were built for the US only in 2005. It seems some SRT6 coupes were built for the UK in 2006, but they may just be left over 2005s.
Apparently some brochures were printed up with 2006 SRT6s in them, but many feel it was a mistake - or the brochures were created when they planned on making the SRT6 for more than one year.
I have emailed DCX many times and ask for more specific production data on the SRT6s. From my correspondence with them, they only show SRT6s being made in the 2005 model year - worldwide production numbers:
2,016 SRT6 coupes and 928 SRT6 roadsters.
Until someone actually sees a 2006 or later SRT6 - I guess we can assume it was a 2005 only. Maybe one of us should place an order for one and see what happens.
I don't have a scanner, but if someone is willing to do this for the forum members I would be glad to send the brochure to you. It has a total of 29 pages with the first 11 pages detailing the srt6. I can't believe they would be handing these out if the cars are not available. If someone is interested in purchasing one I can give you the name and number of the dealership.
If this brochure was not to be handed out maybe I should go get a few. Maybe it we be worth something some day!

I can try to scan them for you if you would like. Let me know and I will PM you my address, etc.
Just checked Chrysler.com's brochure section again. The online brochure is still for the 2005's. See link below:
http://www.chrysler.com/pdf/index.ht...icle=crossfire
Also, note that www.chrysler.com and www.chrysler.ca do not list SRT6s for 2006. www.chrysler.co.uk lists SRT6 coupes available, but no model year is stated.

It is the same as this one on ebay:

I'll try to get it scanned in within the next 24 hours. May have to scan it at work if it won't fit on my scanner.
It says 2006 Chrysler Crossfire on the front and there is SRT6 information and pictures in it.
All specs are the same as 2005, but there are a few little cosmetic changes (that appear to be obvious photoshops). Actually, all of the photos are the same that are in my 2005 brochure. However, photoshopped on to the front fenders right above the side vents are SRT6 logos. The logos are different than our 2005s. Instead of the logo being straight up and down (i.e. SRT6), they are slanted like on the other SRT vehicles (i.e. SRT6).
The changed logos are on the seats as well.
There are no pictures of the rear (although the fixed wing is visible in other shots) so I can't tell if there is supposed to be a SRT6 logo on the back too.
All other information is the same as the 2005 brochure, but the 2006 paint colors for Limiteds are in there.
The back of the brochure is dated 01/06 and there is some fine print on page 3 that reads 'SRT6 models only available by order.'

Here are the SRT6 pics from the 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Brochure (dated 12/04, also note that this is the brochure I received from DCX after requesting a brochure 2 weeks ago):
