Talking Holy @#&$

Well I got to take my SRT6 out today for about a 10 mile drive. It was bone dry here today, sunny, and around 20 degrees.

Got home from work, started it. let it warm up for a few minutes and then jumped in.

Basically I just took it to my exit for work (~ 5 miles away) and back (which is the farthest it has been driven since I've had it). During that time I got on it 3 times. Got sideways twice and then took off fairly fast at a stop sign - resulting in a fishtail and a huge chirp from 1st to 2nd.

This thing is a BEAST.
When I got back to the house, all I could say was 'Holy @#&$.'

Was the Traction Control turned off or on for all this sideways/fishtailing and chirping?

RPM,
How fast did you get up to today? Wait until you hold that pedal down and you start seeing triple digit numbers increase like the double digits do, you'll find yourself with a grin on you face that will last for hours!!

I had it up to 90. Since I'm still getting used to it's feel - I didn't want to go too high. I've only driven it about 40 miles since I've had it (four 10 mile trips).

Glad I could get it out today too - apparently we are under a winter storm warning until Monday.

Come on spring time!! My SRT6 has only been out of the garage once since fall to take it a test drive after I installed the Renntech ECU & pulley kit. But I've always been able to drive the leased coupe witch is still a fun little car to drive till Friday when it met the ditch and telephone pole.
