Default Two Speed Questions

First of all, why the 3 extra MPH? Why did Chrysler make the SRT6 top speed 158, while the lesser models are 155? What is the point? My second question: Those of you who have Renntech, etc., when it flashes out the limiter, what is the new top speed of the car? Does anyone know? Thanks.

I think I remember reading on here that the final gear was limited to about 180~ish...

I thought the SRT model I test drove had 220 mph as the top speed.

Well, I was looking back at this post, and noticed that my first question hasn't been answered. So, does anyone actually know why the SRT goes 3 MPH faster than the Ltd?

I thought that the LTD were only limited by the actual engine not being able to go faster, but the SRT6 was electronically limited...

Although, I'm probably wrong!

I have a Renntech kit and I've had it up to 172 MPH @ 5,600 RPM, so just guessing I'd say she would get pretty close to the 200 MPH mark. As far as the 3 MPH deal, I have no clue.

I don't know, maybe it's because the SRT6 has a bigger rear spoiler.
