Unreal deal. I'd snap it up, but I just can't do autotragic transmissions. I've put a deposit down on an '04 limited coupe. 6-speed, natch.

 

Its either a great deal, or an srt track experience car with new tires...

 

Lets assume it was, I don't think a dealer would discount the car for that reason, as it's under warranty.

 

I just made them an offer of $23K. let's see what they say.

 

Hehe. The dealer got back to me, and rejected my offer, but asked me to offer again closer to his number.

 

Not concerned about the discount. concerned about the history. I know for a fact that a lot of the srt experience cars ended up back in general used car population after having the **** driven out or them. Just don't want you to get stuck.

 

Oh i bought my car cheap... i think around 28k last year. They told me it was a chrysler show vehicle & i had to sign off on it... i realized it... still has factory warrenty had 138 mi on it when i bought it.
I'd still buy it for that savings even if it was.

Mine was a show car as well (140 miles on it when I bought it). That just means it was used at an auto show by Chrysler (it sat on the floor at the New York Auto Show or whatever) - they are different then the track cars that have a few thousand *hard* miles on them.

 

If the prices get down to 20K, I think I'll buy another and convert it to a 6 spd! I'd have one of none then, and it would be a fine addition to our Aero blue auto!
